Baguio to host National Tourism Convention

The Travel Club: League of Tourism Students of the Philippines — UB Chapter is inviting AIT to participate in the 4th National Tourism Convention in the Summer Capital on March 2.

Registration is priced at PhP 950 inclusive of lunch, two snacks, convention kit, and convention certificate. The organizer has reduced the fee to PhP 850 for payees on or before February 15.

Secretary Ramon Jimenez will delivery the keynote speech on the theme Unifying Key Players: Responding to Trends and Challenges in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry. The speakers for the congress will talk on hospitality strategic directions, service standardization, destination management by the local governments, and tourism in global crisis.

A national skills competition composing of Nature and Scenic Photography, Parade of Philippine Tribal Costumes, Presentation of Philippine Festivals, Poster Making, Virtual Tour Guiding, Tourism Quiz Bee, and Tour Package Proposal will be held the next day, March 3.
